Still no computer

I still haven't been able to get a replacement laptop!  I have, however, been able to con my sister into allowing me to put my cutting program on her computer.  I have been able to do a few things.  I am going to help my friend with some tiles today, and I will maybe do a couple vinyl things there as well.
I hope to be able to get a new computer within the next couple months.

My computer is beyond help

So, my computer gave its last mega byte! It just quite! The repairman thought he might be able to fix it, but no such luck! I am so sad.
I need to take up a collection for a new one. Lol

A reflection on my craftiness!

Ha Ha what a title! LOL

I really enjoy doing glass etching! These mirrors, however, were a bit of a test of my patience! I think when I do these again, I will make them smaller!
These mirrors are 12x12 and the image is also 12x12.
Usually when I do tiles, the image is 12x12 and the tile is 13x13. Making it MUCH easier to transfer the image.
When I do these again, I will ... a) choose a different form of that Idaho Falls Temple, b) make the image a little bit smaller. :)
Thanks for looking! If one of these (or another image) looks like something you would be interested in, I am more than willing to do what I can to accommodate.

Families are Forever!

This is a sign that I made today! I think that I am going to donate this and some other things to our family reunion this summer. If there is anything anyone would like to see, let me know!

More Pics

WARNING! This post is EXTREMELY Photo HEAVY!!!
I made these tiles for the Principals of the two schools for Teacher appreciation week.

These tiles were mostly for wedding gifts.
The first is the Twin Falls Temple. The one next to it is the Mount Timpanogas Temple.
The Dallas Temple went to a friend in Texas. The Draper Temple was a wedding gift.
These tiles were mostly wedding gifts. Some were donations to our family reunion auction last year.

As you can see, these two are on the same car! LOL My nephew and his wife both like different teams and they both wanted to show off their love! The Saints and the Broncos.
I did this one for another niece and her husband (didn't post her hubby's pic) Thanks to her, I sold another one to a guy that she works with.
This Chicago logo I did for my friend, Natalie, I did some for her husband as well, they were instrumental in helping me sell SEVERAL others to guys that Kyle worked with. I also made Boise Broncos, Vikings, a Chicago Bears head, and several others! If you are interested in any of these (or one you don't see) let me know!
This is on my van and the other is on Sven's vehicle.
These I did as memorials. The first is for a friend who lost a dog, the other is for the husband of a good friend that I lost in April!
Etching glass is also a fun thing to do with vinyl. This was a Saturday afternoon project.
I etched the backside of the glass on my Family Proclamation.

I made this for Megan when she was Baptized last year! It is a "floating" frame with vinyl on the glass.
This one is a vinyl monogram I did for a Facebook friend!
These are clear glass Christmas ornaments that I put glitter in and then put names on for Christmas.
These were gifts for the teachers that I worked with at school

An update on the family

I guess since it has been so long since I updated, I should give a little update on what the kids are doing!
Caitlin just finished seventh grade at Rocky Mountain Middle School!
Megan just finished second grade at Fairview Elementary.
Kayson just finished first grade at Fairview Elementary.

Megan and Kayson are playing baseball this summer in Ucon (anyone local is more than welcome to come watch). They had their first practice this morning! Their first game is on Tues. at 9 AM. I don't know if it will be at the Ucon School or at the park right there.

Caitlin went to a Zumba outdoor party with Jessie tonight! I guess they had a blast! She Zumba'd last night with Lindsey. I think they are all trying to get her in shape!!! I think I need something, don't think I'll be Zumbaing anytime soon! LOL

Sven started a new job in March with Hammon Services/Teton Delivery.
I worked as a playground duty at Fairview Elementary this past school year, but with all the cuts in education, and because I was the last one hired, my job was cut, so..... either I will go back to being a stay at home mom or else look into a position in the kitchen! I am hoping to do the latter.

We had an incredibly fun Erickson Family Reunion at the Rock Creek Girls camp in Ashton this past weekend! It was a little cold at night (ok, it WAS cold at night) and rainy during the day, but there was a lot of fun had by all!!!

HOLY COW

Here it's been almost TWO YEARS since I have touched this blog. My goal is to TRY to keep this updated with all the crafty things I do.
About a year ago I purchased a Cricut Expression. I have fallen head over heels in love with that thing! I have been doing all kinds of fun things. I cut vinyl and make cards. I have started doing Temple tiles, window decals, memorial plaques.
I have been lucky enough to be able to sell some of my craftiness to my wonderful friends.
I still have TONS of ribbon and am willing to still do bows if anyone is interested in that!
I have even tried beaded watch bands.
I guess you could say that I am a "Jack (or Jane) of all trades". If there is a craft out there that I want to learn then I am willing to try it (at least once).
